Title: Informational-Study Project “Democratic Elections and Election Environment”
Goal: sharing practical experience in election education with teachers, fostering increased interest in electoral processes among the younger generation, and promoting the enhancement of their civic awareness
Target group: basic and secondary level civic education teachers of public schools
Implementation period: April 1 – May 17, 2026
Training venue: 28 municipalities of Georgia (Sighnaghi, Akhmeta, Dedoplistskaro, Rustavi, Gori, Khashuri, Adigeni, Tsageri, Lentekhi, Oni, Zestafoni, Kutaisi, Khoni, Baghdati, Sachkhere, Tkibuli, Abasha, Poti, Chkhorotsqu, Kobuleti, Khulo, Shuakhevi, and Keda), including 5 municipalities densely populated by the ethnic minorities (Lagodekhi, Marneuli, Tsalka, Ninotsminda, and Akhalkalaki)
Participants statistics: 522 civic education teachers (395 women; 127 men) from public schools participated in the meetings, among them, 114 teachers (90 women; 24 men) from public schools located in five municipalities densely populated by the ethnic minorities
