The Central Election Commission and the Training Center are commencing a pilot project Courses for electoral administrator that will be implemented from November 24 through December 5, 2015, at ethnic minority districts, specifically, at 4 municipalities – Marneuli, Lagodekhi, Akhaltsikhe, Akhalkalaki. Citizens of Georgia over the age of 18 are eligible to take the training course.
It is desirable that a person willing to participate in the project has experience in working at election administration, experience in the participation in elections in the capacity of an observer, Election Administration employee certificate and/or Electoral Development School certificate. The principle of gender equality will be taken into account when designing the groups of participants.
The mentioned course envisages the study of polling procedures and is aimed at the enhancement of civic awareness around electoral matters and contributes to formation of qualified human resources at the Election Administration. Training Center trainers and members of district election commissions will lead the trainings.
For taking the course, you have to fill out an application (see the Application Form) and submit it according to the location of the project implementation at a district election commission, from November 9 through 16. You should have your personal identification document at the time of submitting an application.
