On February 5, 2015, in conjunction with the Global Elections Day, the students of the partner higher educational institutions visited the Central Election Commission of Georgia and the Training Center, under the cooperation memorandum.

Giorgi Sharabidze, Deputy Head of the CEC greeted the students and told them about the role of elections in proper democratic development of the country.

Natia Zaalishvili, Director of the Training Center gave the students information about the planned training programs for voter education and briefed them about other planned citizen awareness raising initiatives. Such meetings, aimed at enhancing electoral culture and motivating the youth to participate in elections are regularly held at the CEC and at the Training Center.
