During May 7-14, 2014 the trainers prepared by the Center of Electoral Systems Development, Reforms and Trainings under the aegis of the Central Election Commission of Georgia will deliver trainings to the members of district election commissions throughout Georgia.
The training course of district election commission members comprises the overview of election legislation updates, the review of the matters falling within the competence of district election commissions, as well as detailed overview of the directions for holding the first session of a precinct election commission, polling day procedures and the activities of district and precinct election commissions over the subsequent period.
The trainings will be implemented according to the attached schedule. The schedule is flexible and the amendments will be updated respectively.
The above-mentioned training project is implemented with the financial support of the UN Development Program (UNDP) and the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES).
