On December 22-23, 2013 the CEC Center of Electoral Systems Development, Reforms and Training held a summarizing meeting with the Election Administration trainers at the Sheraton Metechi Palace Hotel. The meeting was focused on the assessment of Election Administration officers professional development training programs implemented by the CEC Center of Electoral Systems Development, Reforms and Training during the 2013 Presidential Elections, sharing practical experience and setting plans for the future.
The following issues: training the pool of trainers, system of training district and precinct election commissions, training modules and materials, methodology, logistics, communication effectiveness and monitoring were discussed at the meeting.
Tamar Zhvania, the CEC Chairperson, CEC members, representatives of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), a partner organization, and 111 trainers of the Election Administration took part in the event.
