On October 25, 2013, training was held at N 8 Penitentiary Institution (Gldani) under the auspices of the Training Center of the CEC and Penitentiary and Probation Training Centre and Penitentiary Department on "Organization and management of Election Procedures at Penitentiary Institutions". The trainings were held in every institution, where the polling station is to be opened for Election Day.
The trainings were held by those workers, who passed Training of Trainers, jointly accomplished by the Training Center of the CEC and Penitentiary and Probation Training Centre.
The educational program aims to raise awareness of the workers of Penitentiary System, their preparation for election process and information of voter prisoners, further, all these activities support effective fulfillment of the election procedures at penitentiary institutions.
