On June 7, 2012 between the Committee of the National Minorities of Public Defender of Georgia and Central Election Commission of Georgia was signed the Memorandum of Collaboration, which implies process of integration of ethnic minorities. Under this cooperation LEPL Center of Electoral Systems Development, Reforms and Trainings together with the Central Election Commission and with the financial support of UNDP, shall provide the trainings for the members of the Committee of the National Minorities of Public Defender of Georgia.
Trainings will take place in CEC, on September 26, in Tbilisi.
Participants will introduce with the updates of the election legislation, including other important issues, such as:
1. Overview of Elections, review of regulations, including the presidential elections
2. Election administration, its authority
3. Polling day procedures
4. Complaints, filling, hearing of disputes
2. Activities of the PEC on polling day
During the training will be screened the film "Polling day procedures" prepared by the Training Centre under the financial support of IFES.
Guidelines prepared by the Training Center will be delivered to the participants of the training.
