He noted that, to this end, the administration actively uses every opportunity to provide young people with objective, comprehensive, and reliable information on electoral issues, enhance their awareness, and support informed decision-making in the future.
CEC Chair Giorgi Kalandarishvili noted after the meeting that engaging with young people who will vote for the first time in the next general elections is particularly important. He stressed that an informed electorate is one of the key foundations of a strong democracy and a sound electoral environment, while direct dialogue with young people enables the election administration to better address their interests and questions.
The meeting was held in an interactive format, allowing participants to receive detailed answers to their questions. Natia Zaalishvili, Director of the Training Center, and Maia Gudadze, Head of the Training Programs Division, provided information on election day administration and related procedures.
