In order to promote the holding of October 4, 2025 Municipal Elections in a safe and free environment, the Central Election Commission and LEPL Centre for Electoral Systems Development, Reforms and Training, in cooperation with the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, conducted a specialized informational-study program for police officers.

The large-scale project was implemented through the period of September 8-15, 2025, on a daily basis in several streams, and 1619 police officers participated in it.

Within the framework of the "Elections and Security" program, the employees of the Training Centre and CEC Legal Department discussed important issues with representatives of law enforcement bodies, including: effective communication between the Election Administration and law enforcement agencies to ensure a safe election environment; identification of risks, prevention and response mechanisms for the security of the electoral process in the period before and on the the E-Day.

The project was implemented within the framework of the memorandum of cooperation signed between the Central Election Commission and the Ministry of Internal Affairs, on September 2, 2025.
