The CEC and the Training Centre continue the cycle of trainings for Precinct Election Commissions (PEC) for the October 4, 2025 Municipal Elections.

From August 22, 2025, the second stage of training begins for those PECs, that conduct the polling process using electronic voting machines. The target audience at this stage of training are PEC head officials (commission chairperson, deputy chairperson).

Within the framework of the specialized program, participants will receive thorough information on the following key issues:

• Services provided to voters at the polling station using electronic voting machines integrated into the polling process;
• Managing voter verification machines, electronic vote counting machines, and a tablet for transmitting preliminary results during administering polling process (functions of the devices/tablets, the purpose of their implementation, and the periods of the election day when the relevant functions are activated in the devices/tablets);
• Preparations for Election Day - logistical support for the polling process; arrangement of the polling station; procedure for the distribution of functions among the members of the commission by the chairman for the administration of the polling process.

In order to help strengthen the procedural knowledge and skills of PEC head officials in managing electronic voting machines, trainings will be conducted using a combined methodology, with participants conducting episodic role-playing exercises.
