From December 4, 2023, certification exams of the Election Administration officials will be launched.
Examination centers are operating in 12 municipalities of the country and the members of the exam secretariat trained by the Training Centre will provide services to the citizens at the locations selected for passing the exam.
According to the results of registration, 1773 citizens (women-1310; men-463) express willingness to pass the exam of Election Administration Officials, (information about the number of examinees registered according to examination centers is available at the link (in Georgian)).
The Training Center has updated the tests for the certification exam of election administration officials, which thematically include issues from the following normative acts: Constitution of Georgia; Election Code of Georgia; CEC Decree of February 6, 2023 N7/2023 “on defining rule and conditions for polling through electronic devices”; Regulations of the CEC approved by CEC Decree N54/2015 of November 25, 2015; Regulations of the District Election Commission approved by CEC Decree N2/2012 of February 3, 2012; The Code of Ethics of Georgian Election Administration Officials approved by CEC Decree N49/2021 of August 23, 2021; CEC Decree N11/2017 of June 27, 2017 "on determination of issues related to labor relations and incompatibility of CEC members and elected members of District Election Commissions" (Publicized tests are used in the exam in an unchanged form).
For the attention of those who wish to pass the exam:
The examinee will be admitted to the certification exam only once, according to the examination center indicated in the registration card, indicating the examination date and time.
For the purpose of going through the admission procedure in the examination hall, the citizen must appear at the center 10 minutes before the start time of the examination, examinee must hold the identity card of the citizen of Georgia or the passport of the citizen of Georgia.
During the exam, the examinee is prohibited from: leaving the examination hall; use of normative acts, law commentaries, manuals, records or other similar material; speaking, giving or receiving help, obstructing another person in any way; access and use of technical means, including mobile phone.
An examinee who does not show up for the exam, shows up late, or violates the established rules during the exam, will be removed from the exam.
Certification exam is being conducted via e-testing method. The duration of the exam is 1 hour. 24 exam tests are automatically selected for the examinee in the electronic program, using a random selection method, the correct answer for each test is evaluated with 1 point. Minimum passing level is 24 points. To receive a positive assessment, the examinee must score 15 points. The validity period of the certificate is determined by the period of 5 years after passing the exam
