For the successful completion of the fire safety and first aid course, the representatives of the Election Administration (EA) of Georgia were awarded with certificates.
The event took place on November 21 at the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Georgia. Certificates were presented to the representatives of the EA by both the CEC Chairperson, Giorgi Kalandarishvili, and the Director of the Safety Academy, Davit Mazmishvili.
According to Giorgi Kalandarishvili, creating a safe and healthy environment for the staff members stands as a key priority of the Election Administration’s work. For this aim, the trainings on fire safety and first aid were organized and implemented for the EA staff members by the Human Resources Management and Labor Safety Department.
“We are all aware that those trainings are of utmost importance. On the one hand, it ensures development, support and establishment of organizational culture, and on the other hand, it affirms that the labor safety is one of the key priorities within the institution and our work. Therefore, promotion of knowledge enhancing in this regard is crucial”, - emphasized the CEC Chairperson.
Today, 155 representatives from the CEC, the Training Center and the District Election Commissions (DEC) were awarded with certificates in recognition of their successful completion of the fire safety and first aid training. These individuals completed the training course between March and October of this year.
