The implementation of the informational-educational project "Election Administrator Courses" started on May 29, 2023 and will be implemented in all 64 municipalities across the country in the period up to June 24.

The CEC and the Training Centre project is profile-based and aims to train interested persons as potential members of Precinct Election Commissions. In addition, the course contributes to raising civic awareness and strengthening electoral culture.

In order to familiarize with the practical aspects of the activities of the Precinct Election Commission, in the program developed by the Training Centre important emphasis is placed on the technological innovations integrated in the election process. With the involvement of participants in the information-educational project, episodic stagings of voting procedures are carried out using voter verification machine and electronic vote counting machine.

The modules provided by the program include familiarization with the following basic issues:

• overview of the status and main powers of the PEC;
• activities of the PEC in the process of preparations for the polling day;
• voting procedure and technique of performance of functions by the PEC members during the polling process;
• operation and manner of use of voter verification and electronic vote counting machines during the polling process (modeling will be carried out in the format of synchronous teaching);
• completing the polling process, counting the votes and drawing up a summary protocol of the voting results.

About 16,300 registered citizens participate in the "Election Administrator Courses" project. Trainings are provided by 206 trainers trained by the Training Centre.
