The trainings for the members of Precinct Election Commissions for October 1, 2022 Sakrebulo By-Elections of Self-Governing Community - Senaki Municipality are underway. Some election procedures will be carried out using electronic technologies within the framework of the pilot project.

In accordance with the training concept elaborated by the CEC Training Center for the PEC members II stage is dedicated to the re-training of 3 PEC head officials (chairperson, deputy chairperson, secretary) operating on the territory of N64 Senaki District Election Commission.

As part of the intensive training program, participants will receive information on the following key issues within their competence:

• Communication-coordination with the District Election Commission (election documents /inventory for admission on Election Day; arranging a polling place);
• Organizational /supervisory functions of the head officials of the Precinct Election Commission (in the processes of opening polling station, voting, closing the polling station, counting-summarizing);
• Techniques for drawing up summary protocols of polling results and publicity of the summarizing protocols;
• Protection of voters' personal data; photo-video recording regulations applicable in the polling station on the polling day.

Based on practical teaching, the head officials of the Precinct Election Commissions will get acquainted in detail the technical and organizational/procedural issues of using the voter verification machine and the electronic vote counting machine in the voting process.
