General Administrative Code, administrative proceeding related to the electoral disputes and legal writing are the main topics of the training course conducted for the District Election Commission members. Full composition of the DECs participate in the training and the course is provided by the trainers of the CEC legal department and the CEC Training Center.  

Giorgi Kalandarishvili, the CEC Chairperson and Natia Zaalishvili, Director of the Training Center along with the Election Administration officials made opening remarks at the training. As the CEC Chairperson noted, thorough implementation of the legal issues in the DEC activities is the most important issue. Management of the Election Administration puts a lot of effort to further improve the competence of the DECs in this regard. 

The training course has been launched on May 2, is being conducted in several stages and will be completed in June. Election Administration conducts trainings in cooperation with the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES).
