Intensive practical training on the ongoing trainings of PECs’ members for the April 2, 2022 By-Elections is devoted to the preparation of a summary protocol of voting results. In order to enhance the professional knowledge and practical skills of PEC head officials on this issue, the CEC and the Training Center, in cooperation with the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES), developed an appropriate e-learning program as an additional resource.
The mentioned e-learning program will be passed by the PECs’ head officials (chairperson, secretary) upon completion of the face-to-face, centralized profile trainings. Access to e-learning resources will be provided in the appropriate space equipped with computer hardware in the DEC buildings.
For this stage, the cycle of face-to-face trainings has been completed for 117 PECs operating within the territory of №20 Rustavi and №21 Gardabani DECs. VI stage trainings held on March 23 were dedicated to the training of PEC head officials (detailed statistic is available at the link). Through the period of March 24-28, the chairpersons and secretaries of 117 PECs will review their knowledge on the preparation of a summary protocol through the e-learning program “Techniques of Drawing up Summary Protocol of Polling Day” developed as an additional resource for practice purposes (the schedule is available at the link).
