According to the training concept elaborated by the CEC Training Centre for April 2, 2022 Parliamentary By-Elections, VI stage trainings will be implemented on March 23, which is dedicated to the profile re-training of PECs’ head officials (chairperson, deputy chairperson, secretary).
As part of the intensive training program, participants will receive information on the issues within their competence, among them, protection of personal data of voters; regulations on photo-video shooting at the polling station; security of elections; polling day statement/complaints.
In addition, the intensive practical training is envisaged on the technique of drawing up the summary protocol of the polling results.
Trainers trained by the Training Centre will deliver PECs VI stage trainings. Detailed schedule is available at the link (in Georgian). In case of any changes, the information will be reflected immediately.
PECs’ V stage trainings for Parliamentary By-Elections were conducted through the period of March 19 - 21, 2022. 825 members of 117 PECs participated in it. detailed statistic is available at the link.
The training course will be held with a different schedule for Batumi Sakrebulo By-Elections, where the PEC members will be re-trained on the use of electronic technologies in the voting process. Trainings will be implemented from March 26. Detailed schedule will be published through the Training Centre webpage in stages.
