A professional training program for Election Administration trainers is launched at the Central Election Commission (CEC).
Giorgi Kalandarishvili, the CEC Chairperson and Natia Zaalishvili, Director of the CEC Training Center made opening remarks at a training program under the title “trainer professional skills and techniques for using online-training resources”, they talked about the importance of continuous development of professional skills for trainers. To achieve the mentioned goal, the CEC Training Center within the specialized training course and considering the existing challenges, elaborated the updated program that envisages enhancement training component in terms of conducting online training courses.
The CEC Training Center conducts the ToT. The District Election Commission members and the CEC staff participate in the training. Up to 180 participants in nine groups in the format of remote and in-person training are provided with an intensive course on the following topics: planning training and its structure, designing a training program, methodology for conducting training course, techniques utilizing online resources (Zoom, Mentimeter, Kahoot.com), developing guideline for trainer and using techniques, delivering a presentation and other professional skills, summarizing training course and evaluation mechanisms.
The Training Center representatives will conduct ToT from February 14 to March 11.
