According to the concept elaborated by the CEC Training Centre for October 2, 2021 Municipal Elections, V stage trainings will be launched from September 17, which is dedicated to the re-training of PECs’ full staff  

Within the format of trainings, the PEC members will practically carry out the episodic staging of the polling day:

• performing functions by PEC members to provide services to voters in accordance with the epidemiological protocol during the voting process;
• simulation of data counting by the registrar commission member
• Procedure to be performed before the opening the ballot boxes - simulation of counting signatures of voters in the voters’ list participating in elections and sealing of voter lists by the counters;
• Procedure of sorting/counting/sealing ballot papers

Training participants will also be introduced to regulations related to facilitating the participation of voters with disabilities in the voting process.

The training process is being held in compliance with all the recommendations related to the pandemic. The trainers re-trained by the Training Centre will provide V stage trainings through the period of September 17-24. Schedule is available at the link (available in Georgian). IV stage trainings for PEC members were conducted through the period of September 12 - 15, 2021. 14 451 members of 3633 PECs participated in it (Note: The data does not include statistics on the attendance of the PECs members in N4 Krtsanisi DEC (data will be processed separately within the pilot project)).
