On September 14, 2020, the CEC and the Training Centre conducted online training for State Inspector‘s Service staff.
Following important issues were discussed within the training:
- electoral stakeholders and their rights during pre-election period and on the Election Day (including, regulations to ensure protection of voters personal data by the persons authorised to be at polling stations);
- rights of public officer during election processes;
- legal restrictions for public officers involvement in pre-election agitation (canvassing);
- issues related to the misuse of administrative resource and official position during election processes, their prevention and reactions to the violations.
Informational-educational course was implemented within the cooperation between Election Administration and State Inspector‘s Service aimed at supporting citizens’ personal data protection during election processes. 10 employees of State Inspector‘s Service staff participated in the training.
