According to the Concept of Trainings developed by the Training Center for October 27, 2019 Sakrebulo By - Elections, trainings of the members of 7 PECs in N15 Lagodekhi, N38 Adigeni and N65 Martvili Election Districts will be held during October 16-23, 2019. All members of PECs will pass the training.

PECs' members trainings will be conducted in two stages. During the first stage, the participants will be acquainted with the following key topics as part of a profile teaching program:

• PEC activities during the period up to the voting day, including the powers of PECs in relation to voters’ lists;
• Managing electoral operations on voting day and procedural mechanisms to contribute to the realization of electoral rights by voters in the course of voting;
• Rights of individuals authorized to be in a polling station;
• Protection of voters’ personal data;
• Communication/coordination with DECs;
• Summarizing voting results at the PEC and completing a voting results summary protocol;
• Voting day applications/complaints.

To support enhancemet of the knowledge of procedures among members of election commissions, the training will be delivered using a combined methodology. Including, to ensure developing practical skills, the participants will perform episodic role-plays. As part of the practical training, PEC members will also get acquainted with the matters of participation in voting of voters with disabilities, via a video clip and relevant instructions.

At the second stage of the trainings, PECs members will perform episodic role play (it envisages performing practical exercise of the procedures to be performed from 7:00 am to 08:00 on voting day, procedures of polling station closing/vote counting and developing voting results summary protocol). Training participants will also get acquainted with photo-video shooting regulations on voting day and electoral security topic.

The Training Center employees will deliver the trainings.
