On June 6, 2019, 2^nd Stage trainings for PEC members will be held for the Second Round of the Parliamentary By - Elections of Georgia. The training will be implemented according to the Trainings Concept (available in Georgian) developed by the Training Center and will focus on training for replacement (new) members of PECs.

As part of the profile program, the participants will be acquainted with the following key topics:

• opening a polling station and distribution of the functions among PEC members through the cast of lots;
• PEC members’ activities for supporting exercising voters’ voting right;
• voters’ personal data collection;
• rights of individuals authorized to be at a polling station;
• activities of PEC members in the process of closing a polling station and vote counting;
• summarizing voting results at PEC;

To enhance procedural knowledge of PEC members, the training was delivered using a combined methodology; including episodic role plays were performed by the participants, to develop practical skills. As part of the practical training, DEC and PEC members were also familiarized with the matters of participation of voters with disabilities in elections, via a video clip and through relevant instructions.
