On April 13-14, 2019, the CEC Training Center conducted a training course for the Election Administration trainers. The trained trainers will deliver intensive training programs for members of district and precinct election commissions about electoral legislation in order to enhance their qualifications for May 19, 2019 Parliamentary By-elections of Georgia, Sakrebulo By-elections and Extraordinary Mayoral Elections

The training course developed by the Training Center included various important topics, among them:

• administration of trainings – the system and stages of trainings, trainings methodology, training materials;
• powers of district election commission;
• communication/coordination among district and precinct election commissions;
• powers of precinct election commissions;
• voting day and managing electoral operations;
• procedural mechanisms for supporting exercising voting right by voters, including etiquette for talking to voters with disabilities and norms of conduct;
• protecting voters’ personal data;
• summarizing polling and election results;
• credibility and security of elections;
• polling day applications/complaints.

25 participants took the ToT. Detailed schedules of trainings for district and precinct election commission members will be published on the Training Center and CEC websites.
