On December 10 - 11, 2018 the Training Center held a summary meeting with NGOs funded as part of the grants competitions announced in 2018. The projects implemented by the mentioned NGOs covered the following directions:

• Support the development of electoral capacity of representatives of political parties;
• Promote the level of awareness and civic engagement of young voters in the electoral process;
• Support participation of vulnerable groups and women for the President of Georgia 2018 Elections;
• Envigoration of the role of local TV broadcaster to ensure that voters have access to high quality, professional and independent information.

Tamar Zhvania, CEC Chair, Giorgi Sharabidze, Deputy Chairperson and Natia Zaalishvili, Training Center Director, opened the event. They underscored the importance of the cooperation with NGOs for promoting the development of electoral culture and competitive environment. While Nino Berulava, deputy Training Center Director, in the capacity of the Monitoring Team Leader,  presented the results of monitoring of the implementation of grant projects.

During the workshop NGO representatives spoke about the result of the projects implemented thereof, discussed challenges and future initiatives.
