For the Second Round of October 28, 2018 Presidential Elections of Georgia, pursuant to the Trainings Concept developed by the CEC Training Center, PEC members will be trained according to the following system:
Stage I: Training PEC leadership (Chairperson, deputy chairperson, secretary)
Target group: leadership of 3648 PECs
Topics: The following areas of the powers of leadership will be covered: vote counting process, instructions for filling out polling day summary protocol, rule for sealing election documentation, legislative response mechanisms for responding to voting day applications/complaints, keeping voting day records book
Training methodology: Practical training
Training duration: 3.00 hours
Training period: November 20-22, 2018 (3 days)
Stage II - Training PEC members (9 members per PEC)
Target group: Members of 3648 PECs
Topics: The training will focus on the distribution of functions among PEC members and fulfillment of these functions, matters of checking data correctness by registrars, vote counting process, the rule of sealing election documentation
Training methodology: practical training
Training duration: 1.00 hour
Training period: November 23-25, 2018 (3 days)
