On June 16 of 2012, by invitation of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia, within the project “Leaders’ House” trainers of the Center for Electoral Systems Development, Reforms and Trainings provided trainings for school pupils on “Civil Importance of Election Participation”, at the House of Justice of Rustavi.
Within the said training, participants were introduced with election development history in GEorgia since 1919 up to the present day, role and function of election participants and other forms of direct democrasy.
Training was being held via discussions, pupils expressed their ideas on civil impotance of participation in elections. At the end of the training simulating voting were arranged by participation of pupils.
Pupils were awarded with bags, t-shirts, notebooks and pens.
