Name of the project: Trainings for the Representatives of Central Media

Aim of the project: to inform representatives of media about the issues regarding October 21, 2017 Municipal Elections

Target group: representatives of central media/journalists

Modules: International electoral standards; Role of media in election process, regulations concerning photo/video recording on the polling day; Promoting inclusive electoral environment; Discussion of amendments in Electoral law; Electoral rights of the media representatives; Pre-election campaign and administrative resources; International experience and main schemes for election coverage

Period of implementation: September 30 – October 1; 2017

Place of implementation: Borjomi, hotel “Rixos”

Statistics: 2 training Sessions were conducted, 25 journalists passed the training, among them women – 19, men - 6
