Pursuant to the “E” subsection, 3rd section, 17th article of the Law of Georgia “Election Code of Georgia”, examination for certification of election administration officers is provided by LEPL  Center for Electoral Systems Development, Reforms and Trainings.

CEC of Georgia approved a new regulation on “Certification of Election Administration Officers” (Available in Georgian) under the decision of March 9, 2012.

According to the said Regulation, certification rule was changed:

• Registration of examination candidates will be carried out online;
• Examination via e-test method;

Duration of Examination shall be 1 hour; 30 tests for each candidate, including:

• 6 questions from the Constitution of Georgia;
• 17 questions from Law of Georgia “Election Code of Georgia”;
• 5 questions from General Aptitude Test (math section)
• 2 questions from General Aptitude Test (verbal section)

Examination tests are selected automatically, via random selection method.  

In April 11 of 2012, Certification tests (with keys Available in Georgian) prepared by the Center, were approved at the CEC session:

• 600 tests from the Constitution of Georgia;
• 1800 tests from Law of Georgia “Election Code of Georgia”;
• 100 tests from General Aptitude Test (math section)
• 21 tests (as an example) from General Aptitude Test (verbal section)

Approved examination tests shall be used during certification examination, without any changes, except mathematical tests (only numerical data shall be changed during the examination, textual part shall remain unchanged).
