19 NGOs were funded at the decision of the Competition Committee under the Grant Competition announced on February 3, 2017, on the promotion of the development of electoral capacity of political parties for the 2017 elections of the local self-government representative and executive bodies.
The grant projects submitted by the funded NGOs for the facilitation of the development of electoral capacity of political parties and the development of competitive political environment in general, envisages the implementation of training programs for representatives of political parties. Trainings include such important topics as:
The Training Center will contribute to the process of implementation of grant projects by training representatives of political parties on the following modules: electoral cycle and legislative news; activities of district and precinct election commissions; voting day procedures.
Funded grant projects will be implemented from May 1 to August 1, 2017 and will include all regions of Georgia.
