From January 22 to February 25, inclusive, members of DEC will pass BRIDGE (Building resources in democracy, government and elections) Trainings, covering election disputes and studying of elections systems in different countries. 15 training sessions will be held in total, each lasting for 4 days.
Trainings for the representatives of West Georgian precincts will be finished on 4 February. From February 7, trainings will be launched for the members of DECs in the East Georgia.
Permanent members of each precinct throughout Georgia will participate in trainings (76 DECs, each including 5 permanent members) and trainings will be provided by the expert facilitator of BRIDGE program with the personnel of Center for Electoral Systems Development, Reforms and Trainings.
“Bridge” program covers all aspects of elections, based on specific teaching methodology oriented on electoral activities, aiming on improvement of participants’ skills and professionalism.
BRIDGE Trainings are held by financial support and organization of USAID and IFES.
