To ensure equal electoral environment for ethnic minority voters for the Parliament of Georgia October 8, 2016 Elections, on September 19, 2016, the CEC and the Training Center held another meeting with the members of 13 district election commissions.

At the workshop, the awareness raising and training module Polling Procedures, produced by the Training Center for voters was discussed. Members of district election commissions will, in turn, present this film to local residents, and it is aimed at supporting full-fledged realization of electoral rights by residents.

Awareness raising meetings with voters will be held from September 22 - 30, 2016, in ethnic minority municipalities – Samtskhe-Javakheti, Kakheti, Kvemo Kartli.

At the meeting, other activities implemented towards supporting the integration of ethnic minorities in the elections process were also discussed.
