On September 3-4, 2016, Media Development Foundation (MDF) held the training for the journalists of various TV stations at the Hotel Lopota in Telavi. The topic of the training organized with the support of the Embassy of Holland was the Coverage of Elections.

Subsequent to the invitation from MDF, representatives of the CEC and the Training Center took part in the Training.

Natia Ioseliani, representative of the Training Center, provided to mass media representatives exhaustive information about polling day procedures and conducted mock exercises jointly with them. Zurab Khrikadze, member of the CEC, briefed the training participants about electoral systems.

The Training Center regularly promotes proactive cooperation with the electoral stakeholders, including with mass media, and will hold similar meetings for electoral stakeholders in the future as well.
