Election Administration implements new initiatives ensuring electoral security.
Representatives of the CEC, Training Centre and the Ministry of Internal Affairs are taking part in two day training.
Nermin Nisic paid attention to secure peaceful election environment while making comments with media representatives – “It is essential that the election processes are proper not only during the E-day but also during the pre-election period. Accordingly, all stakeholders have important role to play for ensuring peaceful electoral environment. The CEC is going through an intensive process to secure accomplishment of electoral processes on a high level” – admitted Chief of Party of IFES.
The participants of the training are discussing electoral conflicts and the tools of prevention throughout the electoral cycle. The training is conducted by Mr. Vasu Mohan, the Regional Director for Asia Pacific (IFES), leading expert in electoral security issues supervising various projects at the International Foundation of Electoral Systems since 2001.
The participants of the trainings will share their gained knowledge with the representatives of their entities.
Above mentioned event is implemented by the Election Administration with partnership of Ministry of Internal Affairs and in cooperation with the International Foundation of Electoral Systems (IFES).
