Pursuant to the “Rule on Issuing Grants” the Central Election Commission of Georgia according to the Decree N 200/2016, April 27, has approved the composition of Grant Competition Committee for the Grant Competition announced by the Centre for Electoral Systems Development, reforms and Trainings on April 4, 2016.

The Committee was staffed from among the representatives of the academic field, international non-governmental organizations and Treasury/budget institutions with relevant experience.

The Grant Commission will evaluate competition documentation submitted by NGOs to the Training Center, based on preliminarily objectively determined criteria (Available in Georgian) and independently takes decision on funding or the denial to fund of NGOs participating in the grant competition.

The grant competition process is transparent. The Training Center ensures proactive publishing of information related to the process of the competition and competition results on the website, as well as access to public information in case of request by any interested individual.
