the training of trainers of the Election Administration has commenced on April 25 according to the Training Concept designed for the City Councils of Gardabani, Kaspi, Tskaltubo, Ozurgeti town, Ozurgeti, Khobi and Zugdidi municipalities and Tbilisi City Council May 22, 2016 Interim Elections. The employees of the Training Center will deliver the training.

Trainers of the Election Administration, through the training course developed by the Training Center, will learn about such important matters as:

• Concept of Trainings of Members of Precinct Election Commissions– the system and stages of trainings, trainings methodology, training materials;
• Administration of trainings;
• activities of precinct election commissions during the pre-election period;
• opening precincts and procedures to be conducted prior to polling;
• the polling process (including recommendations about treatment of voters with disabilities at the polling station);
• closing election precinct, summarizing polling results;
• Application/complaints on the polling day.

Following the training course, the trainers will deliver intensive training programs about electoral legislation to members of precinct election commissions of Gardabani, Kaspi, Tskaltubo, Ozurgeti town, Ozurgeti, Khobi and Zugdidi municipalities city councils and members of precinct election commissions within Tbilisi N 10 Gldani election district. The training will be held in stages.

The training of trainers of the Election Administration will continue through April 27.
