Registration of the applicants for the certification exams of election administration officials was finished. The registration process was carried out through the period of July 25-31, 2024, both remotely (in electronic form) and through the exam secretariats created for serving citizens and operating in 11 municipalities throughout Georgia

According to the results of registration, the number of those willing to pass the exam is 796 (women – 567; men - 229), which taking into account the number of places available for the exam, is 18% (information about the number of examinees registered according to examination centers is available at the link (in Georgian)).

Certification exams for election administration officials will be held on August 12-14.

Three local non-governmental organization were registered in order to observe the process of the exam in the examination centers: International Society for Fair Elections and Democracy; Civic Initiatives Association; Youth for the European Future.

LEPL Centre for Electoral Systems Development, Reforms and Training will administer the certification exams.
