The LEPL Centre for Electoral Systems Development, Reforms and Training (Training Centre) is holding informational meetings with the members of the District Election Commissions (DEC), where Extraordinary and By-elections will be held on April 29, 2023.

The aim of the cycle of working meetings with election administrators is to familiarize them with the novelties proposed by the election reform and ensure effective management of electronic devices during the voting process.

The representatives of the Training Center will hold meetings through the period of April 18-22 of this year. The instructions will be held for the members of 10 DECs (full composition), within which the participants will get acquainted with the procedural novelties in detail, practical aspects of the functioning of voter verification and vote counting machines in the election process and other issues to be implemented within the mandate of the DEC will be discussed as well, among them: coordination/communication with Precinct Election Commissions (PEC); verification/recounting of the voting results of the PEC; summarizing of voting polling and election results by the DEC.
