The CEC and the Training Center continue active cooperation with Georgian higher education institutions.

Within the framework of the partnership with the universities, the Training Center implements an authorial program in the field of electoral law every year, during the spring and autumn semesters.

This year, another university joined the memorandum signed in 2010, and currently, the CEC and the Training Center are actively cooperating with 16 universities operating in Tbilisi and regions.

For this stage, the spring semester training for the 2021-2022 academic year is planned for undergraduate students of the Faculty of Law, Social Sciences and Journalism at nine universities: Caucasus's International University; Ilia State University; East European University; Alte University; Grigol Robakidze University; Gori State Teaching University; Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University; Samtskhe-Javakheti State University; Akaki Tsereteli Kutaisi State University.

The authorial program in electoral law will be implemented at universities by lecturers trained by the Training Center. The program is based on a modern teaching strategy - much attention is paid to the development of students' theoretical knowledge and the refinement of professional skills in practice. For this purpose, taking into account the faculties, simulated trials, election debate clubs and competitions on the topic of election promotion are organized with the participation of students.

Focusing on effective learning outcomes, a guideline and a set of exercises  developed by the Training Centre provide an important useful resource; According to the feedback received from the students, this resource simplifies the understanding of the complex issues presented in the Electoral Code and, at the same time, contributes to the enrichment of knowledge through the study of international practice.

The training program responds to the strategic priority of the Election Administration and aims to strengthen the electoral culture among young people and to train field specialists of electoral law with the competence to meet modern requirements.
