On October 20, members of 8 precinct election commissions special group (full composition) established in order to ensure the participation of voters being in the penitentiary institutions of the Special Penitentiary Service in the second round of October 2, 2021 Municipal Elections will undergo the training program elaborated by the Training Centre.

Participants will receive information on the following key issues within their competence:

• compulsory quarantine and admission rule to be taken by the members of the precinct election commission special group established in a penitentiary institution and by the representatives of observer/election subject/media;
• opening of the polling station and procedures to be conducted before the start of polling;
• polling process according to the epidemiological protocol;
• closing the polling station and procedures to be carried out before the counting of votes;
• opening of the ballot boxes and the process of counting the ballot papers;
• the technique of compiling summary protocols of voting results.

The training will be based on practical learning; it is provided to perform various thematic exercises.

6 trainers trained by the Training Centre will deliver the training program. The training process will be held in compliance with all recommendations related to the pandemic. The schedule is available at the link (available in Georgian).
