During November 23-25, the Second Stage of trainings of PEC members was held (envisaged training for 9 members per PEC) in accordance with the Trainings Concept developed by the Training Center for the Second Round of October 28, 2018 President of Georgia Elections.

The trainings focused on the purview of PEC members, on the procedures of distribution of functions among PEC members, and performance of those functions, inspection of the correctness of data by registrars, organizing and conducting the vote counting process and the rule of sealing electoral documentation. The trainings were held by using the practical teaching methodology.

Observers from 7 local observer organizations and international observer organizations (overall – 44 observers) attended the conducted trainings:

• The OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (OSCE/ODIHR);
• Youth center – Our Generation 1921;
• Institutional Development and Monitoring Center;
• Union 21^st Century;
• The Initiative for Civil Society;
• Georgia Democratic Principles and Human Rights Union;
• International Center for Democratic Initiatives;
• Workers and Students Union for Professional Education and Qualified Personnel Training.

21,634 members of 3,648 PECs (including 11 PECs established in an exceptional case) took 2^nd Stage Trainings, among them – 16,522 female, 5,112 - male. Follow the link for detailed statistics.
