The CEC Training Center held informational meetings with representatives parties/initiative groups and presidential candidates with electoral registration for October 28, 2018 Elections.

Representatives of the Training Center, CEC Legal Department and International Foundation for electoral Systems (IFES) briefed participants about electoral legislation updates and covered various important topics, among them:

• Election day and managing electoral operations;
• Rights of electoral stakeholders;
• Basis and technique for drawing up election day application/complaint;
• Protection of voters’ personal data;
• Summarize polling results.

As part of the meeting, the participants were also acquainted with legislative mechanisms for ensuring safe electoral environment and international electoral security standards. Representatives of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, IFES and the Training Center provided information and shared experience around the above-mentioned topics.

Informational meetings were held during through the period of October 23 - 25, 2018; 47 representatives of 14 election subjects took part in the meetings, among them – 26 female, 23 - male. For detailed statistics follow the Link.
