A total of 593 students took the course in Electoral Law in 2014-2015 academic year.
The goal of this course is to enhance civic awareness and electoral culture of youth, deepen students’ necessary professional knowledge in electoral law and develop their practical skills.
Main teaching modules are:
The History of Georgia Electoral Law; Sources and Principles of Electoral Law; Electoral Systems; system and status of the Election administration; Pre-election campaign; Financing of elections; Election monitoring and media; Electoral disputes; President of Georgia elections; Parliament of Georgia elections; Adjara Supreme Council elections; Local self-government representative body – city council (Sakrebulo) elections; City/town / Community Mayor / executive officer elections; Referendum and plebiscite.
