On July 7, 2015, as part of the Training Center’s project Students’ Debate Club, the second selection competition was held among the students.

Debates on the topic of “should a citizen be granted active suffrage from the age of 16” were held among the students of the Caucasus International University and  Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani Teaching University who took this year a semester course in electoral law developed by the Training Center.

The winning team was identified by the jury comprised of: Tamar Zhvania, CEC Chair, Giorgi Javakhishvili, Emzar Kakulia, Dimitri Javakhadze, Giorgi Chiqaberidze and Marina Tsulukidze, CEC members, and Natia Zaalishvili, Training Center Director.

Tamar Zhvania, CEC Chair and Natia Zaalishvili, the Training Center director distributed certificates to the members of the winning team. Certificates acknowledge their successful transfer to the finals where they will contend with the winning team from the first selection competition.

The winners of the second selection competition are: Magda Nadiradze, Bachana Vasadze, Nana Shukakidze and Shota Chkheidze from Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani Teaching University.
