The Center of Electoral Systems Development, Reforms and Trainings is providing the trainings to the Contact Center operators.
The training is implemented in two stages.
First stage was held on April 3-4, 2014, as part of which the participants were introduced to:
- the status and the system of the election administration
- updates of the Elections Code; regulation of local self-government elections (registration of parties/electoral blocs; rule of registration of initiative groups; submission of party lists; submission of the city council candidates; submission of mayoral/executive officer candidates);
- The parties involved in elections and their rights (representatives of electoral subjects; observer organizations and observers; media; voters and voters’ lists); electoral disputes and the circle of plaintiffs.
2nd stage will be conducted on June 10, 2014 under which the participants will learn about the following issues:
- precinct election commission activities during the period up to the polling day (voters’ lists, setting up the polling building)
- precinct election commission activities on the polling day
- Summarizing polling and election results in an election precinct.
Under the training guidebooks prepared by the Center of Electoral Systems Development, Reforms and Trainings will be distributed to the participants.
