The Election Administration summarized the activities implemented in 2024–2025 and developed a draft Action Plan for 2026 within the framework of large-scale working meetings.

The Chairperson of the Central Election Commission (CEC) reviewed with staff members the activities implemented in 2024–2025, with a primary focus on the introduction of electronic voting. Giorgi Kalandarishvili provided a detailed overview of the activities and comprehensive efforts implemented by the Election Administration in administering the Parliamentary and Municipal Elections of Georgia. These efforts covered technological interventions, voter information initiatives, the promotion of an inclusive electoral environment, electoral training programmes, and other key areas.

“As an Election Administration, we undertook significant efforts to ensure that two nationwide elections were administered at a high professional standard. Particular attention should be paid to the successful practice of introducing electronic electoral technologies, as this marked the first instance of their large-scale use during elections. I would like to express my gratitude to each staff member for their dedicated work. I believe that meetings of this kind, along with active staff engagement, provide an important platform for assessing achieved results, identifying existing challenges, and jointly planning future steps. This, in turn, contributes to institutional strengthening and the continuous improvement of electoral processes,” stated Giorgi Kalandarishvili during the meeting.

Within the framework of the event, Election Administration staff also discussed the draft Action Plan for the upcoming year. The draft was presented by the Head of the Human Resources Management and Labor Safety Department, Tamar Tsertsvadze. She also emphasized the importance of monitoring, reporting, and periodic evaluation in ensuring the effective implementation of the Action Plan, which will contribute to the achievement of the planned results.

It is noteworthy that employees of all structural units and the Training Center were involved in the development of the Action Plan, further enhancing the inclusiveness of the process. The draft 2026 Action Plan, which is to be approved at a CEC session, was developed in line with the CEC Strategic Plan for 2023–2026 and reflects activities aligned with the corresponding strategic objectives.

The working meeting was held on 19–20 December and was attended by representatives of the Central Election Commission, the CEC Training Center, and District Election Commissions.
