“Democratic Elections and Election Environment” - Project for Civil Education Teachers of Public Schools – Statistic 2025
Title: Informational-Study Project “Democratic Elections and Election Environment”
Goal: to facilitate the planning of the lesson process on the elections module and sharing updated information with students, to promote the raising of the civic election awareness of the young generation
Target group: basic and secondary level civic education teachers of public schools
Implementation period: February 17 – March 12, 2024
Training venue: 23 municipalities of Georgia (Tbilisi, Kvareli, Gurjaani, Kaspi, Tianeti, Kareli, Borjomi, Aspindza, Gardabani, Marneuli, Tetritskaro, Bolnisi, Dmanisi, Terjola, Vani, Samtredia, Chiatura, Kharagauli, Khelvachauri, Lanchkhuti, Tsalenjikha, Martvili, Senaki), including 5 municipalities densely populated by the ethnic minorities (Gardabani, Marneuli, Tetritskaro, Bolnisi, Dmanisi)
Participants statistics: 510 civic education teachers (407 women; 103 men) from 478 public schools participated in the meetings, among them, 92 teachers (71 women; 21 men) from 69 public schools located in five municipalities densely populated by the ethnic minorities
