Professional training program of Precinct Election Commissions for the Elections of October 26, 2024, is moving to the final stage.

In accordance with the concept developed by the Training Centre, the final stage of the trainings will be devoted to intensive practical training of the head officials of Precinct Election Commissions (commission chairman, deputy chairman, secretary of the commission).

Sessions will be held according to profile directions:

• During the period of October 18-22, IV and V stage trainings will be held consecutively for the head officials of Precinct Election Commissions where polling will be conducted using electronic technologies (IV stage schedule, V stage schedule);
• In the period of October 20-22, the final IV stage trainings will be held for the head officials of Precinct Election Commissions where polling will be held without the use of electronic technologies (IV stage schedule).

Within the framework of the specialized program prepared by the Training Centre, the participants will strengthen the practical skills of managing polling processes and knowledge on issues related to their mandate. The focus will be set on the following key aspects: organizational, supervisory and controlling functions of the head officials of the Precinct Election Commissions during the polling process; guaranteeing the free expression of the voter's will; secrecy of choice and protection of voter's personal data at the polling station; ensuring the conditions for unhindered observation of the polling process and the publicity of the process; regulations for photo-video recording at the polling station; drawing up and publicizing the summary protocol of polling results; responding to polling day statements/complaints; mechanisms for ensuring election security.

In the process of training the head officials of election commissions, where the polling will be held using electronic technologies, an important place will also be given to a reminder session on the issue of the operation of electronic devices.

In addition, at the final stage trainings, the participants will get acquainted with the memorable instructions (check lists) prepared by the Training Centre for Precinct Election Commissions, which are intended to be used on the E-Day. In the mentioned resources, the activities to be performed by the head officials and members of the commission are systematized in accordance with their functions, and aims to facilitate the uniform use of the information received at the trainings in practice and the organized conduct of the polling process.
