In the period of May 20-24 of this year, the Training Centre conducted seminars on the topic "Informed young voter" in partner universities. Within the framework of the meetings, students of different faculties got acquainted with international trends in the direction of using technologies in elections, discussed the services offered to voters by the Georgian Election Administration and the novelties of conducting voting with electronic devices.
Informational meetings were held in 9 higher educational institutions operating in Tbilisi and regions. 200 students of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Ilia State University, East European University, Caucasus International University, Grigol Robakidze University (Tbilisi and Batumi representative), Gori State University, Samtskhe-Javakheti State University, Jacob Gogebashvili Telavi State University, Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University participated in it (women - 130, men - 70).
The Training Centre conducted a mock voting process using electronic devices. Young people gained practical experience by participating in it.
The current active information campaign is focused on popularizing the innovations introduced in the election process and promoting the formation of young people as active, informed voters.
