The certification exams for the Precinct Election Commission (PEC) members has been completed.
Exam centers opened in 30 municipalities served the citizens. Those willing to take the exam had the opportunity to choose an exam center operating in one of the listed municipalities: Tbilisi (4 exam centres), Gurjaani, Sighnagi, Telavi, Rustavi, Bolnisi, Tetritskharo, Mtskheta, Dusheti, Gori, Borjomi, Akhaltsikhe, Sachkhere, Zestaphoni, Baghdati, Tkibuli, Tskhaltubo, Kutaisi, Ambrolauri, Tsageri, Senaki, Zugdidi, Khobi, Poti, Mestia, Ozurgeti, Batumi, Kobuleti, Daba Shuakhevi, Khulo.
Out of a total of 7429 citizens registered for the exam, 5475 examinees appeared in the exam centers. According to the results of passing the exam 5410 persons received the certificate of PEC members (4291-women; 1119 -man). In the period of May 10-27 of this year, the Center for Electoral Systems Development, Reforms and Training conducted the certification exams for the Precinct Election Commission members in cooperation with the Central Election Commission of Georgia.
