The workshop pertaining to participation of beneficiaries of support in elections was held at the ‘Association Anika’. The meeting participants elaborated the learning module created in light of the roadmap drawn by the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Georgia in the easy-read format for the participation of beneficiaries of support in elections.

The learning module was created by the Center of Electoral Systems Development, Reforms and Trainings. The module is planned to be applied for the conduct of the learning course regarding participation of beneficiaries of support in elections for the representatives of local non-governmental organizations specializing in the relevant field. The mentioned activity is envisaged under the 2024 Action Plan of the Election Administration.

Among attendees of today’s meeting were the Head of the Strategic Planning and Reporting Department of the CEC, the Director and representatives of the Training Center.

At the conclusion of the workshop, the participants also discussed the pertinent matters for arranging a simulation of voting with the participation of beneficiaries of support by application of electronic technologies.
